As the founder of Porta & Company Commercial Real Estate Services, Joe oversees an expert and dynamic staff of brokers and brings his extensive industry knowledge to every transaction.  Before starting Porta & Company in 2017, Joe worked for 12 years in real estate, spending the majority of his career with commercial real estate firm CBRE | The Boulos Company in Portland, Maine.  While with CBRE, he became their youngest partner and was twice named the top producer of the year. With annual transaction volume in excess of $100 million, Joe has achieved the prestigious SIOR-designation by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, a recognition of his peak production and esteem within the industry.

As a broker, developer, and licensed attorney, Mac has extensive, multi-faceted knowledge of all aspects of real estate development, brokerage, law, site permitting, project management and investment sales. Prior to partnering with Porta & Company, Mac successfully developed and sold single-tenant national retail stores across New England totaling over $50 million in transaction volume. He received his Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Colby College, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.

As a Partner at Porta & Co, Vince focuses primarily on investment properties and Tenant Leasing Representation. Vince is a detail-oriented broker with strong underwriting skills and an ability to find creative solutions for clients. Vince has seen a great deal of success in the multi-family housing sector, having sold over 1,000 units of commercial multi-family assets. Prior to joining Porta & Company in 2018, Vince spent 4 years at CBRE | The Boulos Company. Vince attended Cheverus High School and Bates College. He graduated from Bates with a degree in Rhetoric which included a concentration in Education. While at Bates, he was a member of the football team and was also the coordinator for a mentor program connecting Bates students with local elementary school students. Vince currently lives in Portland with his son, Matthew. They both enjoy staying active and being outdoors.

As a commercial real estate broker with Porta & Company, Anthony specializes in investment sales while maintaining a comprehensive practice that includes landlord and tenant representation, lease negotiations, and development consulting. His approach is driven by a commitment to fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships between property owners and occupants — relationships that enhance asset value, optimize building performance, and contribute to the long-term success of each client’s investment.

A Maine native and graduate of California State University, Anthony spent several years on the West Coast before returning home to build his career in Portland’s dynamic and evolving real estate market. His background and perspective enable him to connect both local and out-of-state investors with opportunities that align strategic vision with community growth. Anthony is dedicated to advancing the continued development of Greater Portland while upholding Porta & Company’s standard of integrity, insight, and exceptional client service.

Tim joined Porta & Company in November 2019. He is a detail-oriented broker with strong underwriting skills and an ability to find creative solutions for clients. Prior to joining Porta & Company in 2019, Tim spent 4 years at The Boulos Company, where he achieved great success in the brokerage of investment properties. Tim works in all areas of commercial real estate including office, retail, industrial, development properties throughout the State of Maine. Tim has considerable experience working with developers, investors, and companies including large regional businesses and State organizations.

Tim holds the prestigious CCIM designation. A professional recognition of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the commercial real estate industry.

An Auburn, Maine native and current Portland resident, Tim is active within the Maine business community. He graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2015 with a degree in Finance & Economics.

Charles has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate across all asset classes, and an extensive knowledge of the Maine market. Prior to joining Porta & Company, he was a broker at CBRE | The Boulos Company, where he successfully advised and represented clients with their real estate needs, including tenant representation, buyer representation, lease negotiation, valuation and appraisal, and investment strategy. During his 14 years at CBRE | The Boulos Company, Day was responsible for more than $200 million dollars in transaction volume. A Bangor, Maine native and current Cumberland resident, Charles is active within the Maine business community. He holds an undergraduate degree in business management from Bryant University.

Since joining Porta & Company, Peter has earned a reputation for being hardworking, knowledgeable, and honest. He advises clients with all of their real estate needs, including tenant and landlord representation, buyer and seller representation, lease negotiation, and investment strategy. He has also developed a reputation of having strong market insights and analysis, and works with local lenders and clients to provide critical valuation reports. Peter has experience in all areas of the commercial real estate market including; office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and development properties. He possesses strong underwriting and problem solving skills, allowing him to serve both his and the firm’s clients’ best interest. Peter has thrived in the collaborative, team oriented approach at Porta and Company, which led to him being elected a Partner at the firm in 2024.

Peter worked in the underwriting department at Unum for 3 years prior to getting into commercial real estate and joining Porta & Company in 2018. A Freeport, Maine native and current resident, Peter is active within the Southern Maine community. A graduate of The Ohio State University in 2015 with a degree in Finance from the Fisher College of Business, Peter was also a member of the 2014-2015 National Champion Football Team. Outside of the office, you will likely find Peter outdoors, whether that is on the Golf Course or with his wife, son and dog.

• 145 Commercial Street, Portland (Evie Cianchette Block): 28,498± SF multi-tenanted Office Condo which sold 50% vacant in 2025. Peter helped facilitate the condo conversion which had previously been a hurdle to sale and organized a deal for a new tenant to take the vacant space just months later.
• 210 Middle Street, Portland: Peter represented the Tenant, PopUp Bagels in their search process for their first Maine location. They extensively looked throughout the Greater Portland Market and settled upon this downtown location. Targeted opening the end of 2025.
• 3 Canal Plaza, Portland: Peter assisted Fidelity in their expansion at the Canal Plaza location, with a blend and extend deal within the same property for their office expansion.
• 174 Cash Street, South Portland: 34,421± SF industrial building sold to one of the Anchor Tenant’s. The building had been previously self managed and had quite a few shared elements which were not common for an industrial building of this size. Peter helped the seller organize the building including the leases and income/expense info to help facilitate the sale.

Emmett is an Associate Broker at Porta & Company, where he specializes in leasing and selling industrial, office, and retail properties across Southern Maine. Since joining the firm as an intern in 2021, he has steadily grown within the company—transitioning to a full-time Sales Agent in 2022 and advancing to his current role in 2025.

Emmett holds a degree in Business Management from the Wall College of Business at Coastal Carolina University, graduating in 2022. He is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Maine (License #BA929603) and an active member of both the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Known for his energy, market knowledge, and commitment to client success, Emmett brings a focused and results-driven approach to every transaction.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, golfing, traveling, and connecting with friends.
