Since joining Porta & Company, Peter has earned a reputation for being hardworking, knowledgeable, and honest. He advises clients with all of their real estate needs, including tenant and landlord representation, buyer and seller representation, lease negotiation, and investment strategy. He has also developed a reputation of having strong market insights and analysis, and works with local lenders and clients to provide critical valuation reports. Peter has experience in all areas of the commercial real estate market including; office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and development properties. He possesses strong underwriting and problem solving skills, allowing him to serve both his and the firm’s clients’ best interest. Peter has thrived in the collaborative, team oriented approach at Porta and Company, which led to him being elected a Partner at the firm in 2024.

Peter worked in the underwriting department at Unum for 3 years prior to getting into commercial real estate and joining Porta & Company in 2018. A Freeport, Maine native and current resident, Peter is active within the Southern Maine community. A graduate of The Ohio State University in 2015 with a degree in Finance from the Fisher College of Business, Peter was also a member of the 2014-2015 National Champion Football Team. Outside of the office, you will likely find Peter outdoors, whether that is on the Golf Course or with his wife, son and dog.
